Case Studies
Challenge:
While sitting in a marina parking lot the chef found a spot to launch a top restaurant and private event center across the Hudson River from Manhattan. Partners and Owners, Chris Siversen and Marc Haskell, needed one more thing: to get butts into seats. They asked Eight to create a integrated marketing program with the visual edge to convey the delicious flavors, dramatic views and tantalizing space.
Eight's Approach:
To rise above the crowd of more than 10,000 eateries in the tri-state area Eight showcased the unique view with the logo, tagline, website, indoor and outdoor signage, and an advertising campaign including posters at the New York Waterway ferry. We created a “different point of view” with a distinctive color palette that reflects the navy and steel grey interior. We worked closely with the public relations agency on the opening party creating invitations that dazzled the press.
Result:
The views of New York City, the Statue of Liberty and the marina’s yachts make the dining experience an EVENT! Weddings are booked thru 2012 and it is tough to get a seat on the patio.
